About Origami Dreams
Origami Dreams is a creative collective from Huesca, Aragón, Spain. We explore multiple creative disciplines under one umbrella: music, game development, visual arts, comics, and fanzines.
The Band
Origami Dreams began as a music project in early 2023. Our sound sits in the realm of Alternative Rock and Indie, with Dreampop and Shoegaze influences.
Huesca has always been a huge inspiration for us — a place where music lives in the streets and the creative energy is contagious. From posters around town, we found our first lineup in 2023. When our original drummer had to leave for work abroad, he left us with a clear message: “Keep playing, keep going forward.”
That spirit carried us through. The three founding members — Victor, Carlos, and Yesika — kept rehearsing, writing, and enjoying making music until we finally decided to go all-in and find a new drummer. We were lucky to find an amazing one.
Our first gig was on August 8th at “Pre Laurentis Guitarrero” organized by Jordi at Guitaría J. Moroch in Huesca. Our second was at the Christmas Jam Session at Artlab, our beloved rehearsal space since 2023. There, we recorded a live session that became The Artlab Sessions EP.
Our Sound
Our influences span across genres and decades: Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, M83, She Her Her Hers, Linkin Park, Green Day, Coldplay, as well as blues, jazz, and 70s/80s rock.
